Care:
Be sure to include a group of at least 4 loaches. This will increase confidence in the Kuhlis and will provoke fish to be seen out of its hiding place. Also be sure to include a lot of narrow hiding spaces, and subdued lighting is preferred. Rounded gravel is mandatory to protect the sensitive barbels. Also sensitive to high nitrates, so keep it below 40ppm.

Comments:

Comments: An active and entertaining fish when not threatened. Very peaceable to neighbouring fish and other fish of its own kind. An ideal choice for a bottom feeder for those who have the space and a well established aquarium. Can also get into very tight nooks and crannys, and make the illusion that it jumped out of the tank. If in doubt, rustle up some of the hiding spaces. They will come out if they are in there.
